ADOLESCENT GIRLS' INITIATIVE FOR LEARNING AND EMPOWERMENT (AGILE)

The World Bank is supporting the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Education to implement the Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project. The project development objective is to improve secondary education opportunities among adolescent girls in targeted areas in participating states. The current eighteen (18) participating states include: Borno, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Plateau, Ekiti, Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Kwara, Kogi, Nassarawa,  Niger, Sokoto, Yobe. Zamfara and Jigawa.

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM PLATFORM (EPAMIS)

An Interactive and Information platform for
Adolescent Girls, Parents, SBMC and the General Public

The project consists of the following three components:

1. Create Safe and Accessible Learning Spaces
2. Fostering an enabling environment for girls
3. Project management and system strengthening

Empowering girls on digital training and remote learning platform.
This subcomponent supports
Basic digital literacy training and establishes a remote learning platform.

AGILE

The Adolescent Girls’ Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) is a World Bank assisted intervention designed to improve secondary education opportunities among girls' in targeted areas.

CCT: STUDENTS INCENTIVE AND SCHOLARSHIP

The AGILE Financial Incentive, backed by the World Bank, provides vital support to students, offering N20,000.00 to JSS and N25,000.00 to SSS pupils for two sessions. Its aim is to enhance school enrollment, assist economically disadvantaged students, promote academic achievement, and reduce the number of out-of-school children in Ekiti State.
